Program Purpose

Learning Outcomes

  • Understand the fundamental aspects of international law, including the substantive legal and policy issues presented by and in that system from both a positive and comparative perspective.
  • Develop fundamental skills needed by the modern international lawyer, including in the transactional and litigation contexts.
  • Develop a sophisticated understanding of the overall governance system in which international law rests, either by specializing in a particular area of international law study or by taking a breadth of courses in this area.
