M.Ed. in Educational Psychology

Program Purpose

The M.Ed. in Educational Psychology is awarded to students pursuing practical knowledge in education and psychology directed toward impacting educational practice, mental health practice, or the use of psychology in the schools.

Learning Outcomes

  • A broad understanding of the science of psychology and its application to specific educational and psychological problems (the exact problems vary by program)
  • The development of professional skills and ethics related to the practice of educational psychology within the student’s program domain
  • The ability to integrate the knowledge learned and apply it to specific problems within the student’s program domain
